Archive: Beyond the Clouds 2016

In my series Beyond the Clouds, I use layers, textures, patterns, brush strokes and colors to create a connection between each triptych. When the series of the three triptychs are viewed together as one, they expand into a larger series of nine paintings which are all interrelated. As I created each painting it felt like a journey; I watched each painting emerge from the previous piece before.
